Job description
Substitute School CustodianThe Mine Hill Township School District is seeking dependable Substitute School Custodians to help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly school environment on an as-needed basis. Duties include cleaning and maintaining classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, cafeteria, and common areas. This involves sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and removing trash. Custodians will set up and break down areas for events and activities, assist with basic maintenance tasks, and restock supplies. They must follow safety procedures and district policies.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Custodial experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and follow directions. Physical requirements include the ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to use cleaning equipment and supplies safely. Ability to work indoors and outdoors as required.Schedule & Pay: As needed; hours vary. Compensation per Board of Education guidelines.
