Substitute School Nurse and/or Health AideReports To: Principal and Director of Special EducationQualifications:Illinois Registered Nurse LicensePEL endorsed in school nursing with training to provide services in IEP meetings requiring medical plans and goalsAn interest and/or experience in working with children in grades Pre-K through 8Training and experience in managing diabetes plansExcellent attention to details in the handling of medical records and the administration of doctor-prescribed medication to childrenA strong commitment to professional excellenceThe ability to work collaboratively with othersA willingness to participate in staff development opportunitiesWork Year: School Year (9 1/2 months)Salary: Per WEA contractStarting Date: When Needed
