nThe Capital Development Strategy Intern will be immersed in data driven research and report building as it pertains to capital spend for our current and future project portfolios. Your responsibilities will include but aren't limited to:
nCapital Strategy Intern:
nnnCollaborate with Development, Finance, Accounting, and Procurement teams on strategic capital initiatives.
n
nnSupport new development capital project requests and approvals in monthly senior executive committee meetings.
n
nnMaintain and create cost projections for greenfield construction and incremental site builds.
n
nnWork on equipment procurement and delivery processes.
n
nnDevelop new processes and documentation to improve capital project management.
n
nnApply industry-leading practices to improve overall business performance.
n
n nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
nnnActively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, or related program
n
nnProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint for presentations and Excel for data analysis and budgeting.
n
nnStrong verbal and written communication skills.
n
nnCritical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
n
nnMust be a US Citizen
n

nnPrevious internship or co-op experience researching capital projects and building out advanced reports for strategic planning
n
nnExperience with data analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

nnInvolvement in community activities outside of schoolwork (athletics, clubs, volunteering, part-time employment).
