nL IFEGUARD JOB DESCRIPTION
nA Lifeguard's primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of patrons at an assigned aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies. Lifeguards are responsible for enforcing all pool rules fairly and consistently. Lifeguards ensure proper pool water chemicals, record keeping, and maintaining a clean and enjoyable aquatics facility. Lifeguards are also responsible for reporting any unsafe conditions or faulty equipment to their Supervisor.

While it is fun, the role of a Lifeguard must be taken very seriously, because at any time someone's life might depend on YOU!
nLIFEGUARD REQUIREMENTS
nnLifeguards MUST be a minimum of 15 years old by date of hire or the last day of the lifeguard course
n n*Lifeguards MUST be able to work Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July weekend, and Labor Day weekend (Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
n*Lifeguards MUST be able to work ALL WEEKENDS throughout the Summer (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
n*Lifeguards MUST conduct themselves in a professional manner and must be attentive and focused
n*Lifeguards MUST have a current Nationally Approved Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid Certificates or obtain before the beginning of the season

n nExperienced, motivated Lifeguards who demonstrate excellent customer service, organizational and leadership skills may be considered as a Pool Manager, with the opportunity for more responsibility and higher pay. Interest in the Pool Manager position and further explanation of the responsibilities can be discussed in your interview.
nThe season begins on Saturday, May 23rd, 2026. The season ends on Monday, September 7th 2026
nPay rate: $14/hr - $17 /hr + Overtime (depending on experience).
nBonus and Incentive opportunities are available! - Don't forget to ask how you can qualify for a $250 bonus!
