Job description
Lifeguard/Swim Instructor
Join our team of lifeguards and swim instructors to maintain the health and safety of all participants, and provide high-quality programming, while building relationships with members and program participants. This position is available at our Dahl branch in La Crosse, WI. Details: Flexible hours – PART-TIME and FULL-TIME positions available for the summer! Work rain or shine in a controlled environment. Pool is open from 5am - 8:30pm Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm Saturday and Sunday.
Responsibilities:
Maintain the health and safety of all participants
Enforce rules and expectations
Constant vigilance of pool activities
Conduct YMCA Learn-to-Swim lessons
Requirements:
Must be at least 15 years old
Lifeguard Certification (for lifeguards only)
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Certification (lifeguards only)
YMCA Water Instructor Certification preferred (Instructors only)
Must enjoy working around children and adults of all ages
