Supervising Case Manager
This position is responsible for supervising community case managers within an individual location. This position works closely with the Site Director or Assistant Site Director in managing intakes and referrals, case management, invoice processing, and overall program success within the assigned community-based program. This position is also responsible for managing a reduced individual case load, based on the unique needs of the service location. This position may also act as interim Site Director or interim Assistant Site Director during periods of extended absence or turnover.
Job duties include supervising community case managers, managing client intakes and referrals, facilitating client wellness and autonomy, managing outreach techniques, monitoring funding agency performance goals, working with the Site Director and Quality Assurance team, attending community meetings, providing motivational coaching and mentoring, fostering a respectful work environment, maintaining a personal resource file, coordinating landlord recruitment and retention, assessing and approving client financial requests, acting as interim Site Director or Assistant Site Director, and additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Required competencies include engaging with and leading a high-performance team, mentoring and coaching employees, working with diverse populations, conducting assessments, organizing and interpreting data, working knowledge of MS Office programs, managing remote/hybrid team members, understanding collaboration and active listening, and advocating for the organization.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with two years of college level coursework in related field, AA/AS degree required, at least one year of experience managing a team, broad working knowledge of local services, strong passion for veteran issues, proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook programs, clean DMV record, and reliable transportation. Veteran status is preferred but not required.
Offering: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour ($63,648 - $74,256) depending on experience and location. Comprehensive benefits.
