Job description
Seeking a licensed Pharmacist to serve as Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) at a pharmacy located in Abilene, TX. This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a motivated professional with leadership experience who is eager to contribute to and grow within the role.
Responsibilities include overseeing pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, managing a pharmacy team, and compounding both sterile and non-sterile medications. The position requires a dynamic leader ready to maintain high standards of patient care and operational excellence.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Qualifications: Valid Texas Pharmacist License required
Willingness to obtain additional state licenses over time
Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience
Experience in compounding sterile and non-sterile preparations
Prior experience as Pharmacist In Charge preferred
Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively
