Job description
A retail pharmacy location in Mifflinburg, PA is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Manager with solid leadership skills and a strong background in pharmacy operations. This direct hire opportunity offers a dynamic schedule featuring variable day and afternoon shifts with 10, 11, or 12-hour shifts, typically ranging from 8am to 9pm and totaling 62 hours bi-weekly. Immediate start is preferred.
In this role, you will lead a pharmacy team by fostering collaboration with store operations, driving associate engagement, and aligning departmental goals with business strategy. You will ensure the accuracy and compliance of all filled prescriptions in accordance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations. Managing profitability and script growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management will be a key focus. Oversight of inventory control in partnership with pharmacy leadership and staff is expected to meet customer needs effectively.
Your responsibilities also include supervising pharmacy personnel, providing coaching and training, maintaining department security, and resolving customer concerns to enhance trust and loyalty. Engagement with healthcare providers and ongoing development of team skills to improve performance and reduce turnover are essential. You will ensure efficient completion of departmental tasks including inventory management and customer will-calls.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
Schedule: 10-hour shifts: 9am - 7pm
11-hour shifts: 9am - 8pm
12-hour shifts: 8am - 8pm or 9am - 9pm
