Job description
A full-time leadership opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager in a retail setting located in Mifflinburg, PA. This direct hire role focuses on driving operational excellence and exceptional customer service within the pharmacy department.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a strong collaborative relationship with the store operations team, leading pharmacy associates with clear communication of department and company strategies
Ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance of all prescriptions by conducting thorough Drug Utilization Reviews and Quality Assurance procedures consistent with state and federal Board of Pharmacy standards
Manage the department to build profitability and script growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
Collaborate with the District Manager and pharmacy staff to control inventory effectively through weekly sales tracking and pharmaceutical stock ordering
Align performance objectives to measurable department metrics that focus on efficiency and effectiveness
Provide excellent customer service, addressing medical inquiries, and counseling patients on healthcare matters
Oversee training, coaching, discipline, and management of pharmacists and pharmacy support personnel
Maintain pharmacy security, resolve customer issues thoughtfully, and engage with physicians to clarify prescription details and resolve concerns
Keep the pharmacy organized and clean, prioritize and complete tasks such as inventory management, cycle counts, and handling will-calls promptly
Qualifications: Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree required
Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist license
Current Pennsylvania Immunization license
Schedule Details: Bi-weekly hours totaling 62
Variable shifts including 10-hour (9am-7pm), 11-hour (9am-8pm), and 12-hour (8am-8pm or 9am-9pm) shifts
Days and afternoons shifts available
Immediate start available
