Job description

Supervisor PositionAs a supervisor, you carry considerable responsibility and play a vital role in leading your team to success. You are the conductor from start to finish—ensuring that each process, person, and product meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.Your day will be spent leading, monitoring, and managing production processes, procedures, employees, jobs, goals, quality standards, and inventory. You will identify and implement improvements, coach team members, and ensure that work is completed in the most efficient and organized manner possible.Additionally, you'll support other areas and departments as needed, maintaining a helpful, proactive approach to ensure daily demands are met and operations run smoothly within your area.About ETE REMANETE REMAN is the largest independent aftermarket automatic transmission remanufacturer in the United States. That means you get the best of both worlds — a tight-knit, no-nonsense culture with room to advance and make your mark.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Production Manager and other Supervisors as needed; communicate any inventory or production issues promptly.Maintain the ability to manage, coach, and communicate with all employees in a professional and respectful manner.Take on and assign responsibilities; develop, implement, and monitor improvement plans; lead by example.Motivate employees by using critical thinking and sound judgment when managing and addressing issues.Monitor employee time punches and PTO using UKG; conduct performance reviews and hold employees accountable.Maintain one-piece workflow; ensure job and serial numbers remain accurate and organized.Perform and verify quality checks; ensure adherence to all established processes and procedures.Ensure employees are productive, at their workstations on time, and working their scheduled hours.Meet or exceed daily production goals and quality standards.Train new personnel and work overtime as required to meet production needs.Follow directions from Managers and Human Resources; proactively lead the department toward success.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, model punctuality and consistency.Adhere to all safety rules, maintain excellent attendance, and demonstrate a strong work ethic.Embrace and uphold ETE Reman's Core Values in all interactions and decisions.Essential FunctionsComputer literate with strong communication and math skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.Must be at least 18 years old; high school diploma preferred.
