About This Role
The Supervisor of Hospice Care Nursing oversees and coordinates the operations of Hospice Care services, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimal customer service. This role is ideal for experienced nursing professionals with leadership capabilities.

What You'll Do
Lead the activities of assigned Hospice Care team members to achieve department objectives.
Prepare and analyze operational and statistical reports.
Report operational performance and recommend procedural and policy changes.
Establish goals, objectives, and standards while ensuring effective communication to staff.
Select, develop, manage, and evaluate direct reports.
Build and maintain productive intra-departmental work relationships.
Ensure operating compliance with government and agency regulations.
Manage resources including operating budget, supplies, equipment, space, staff, and information.
Perform related duties as required.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
Experience
4-6 years of relevant experience required.
0-2 years of leadership/management experience required.
4+ years of hospice care experience highly preferred.
Licenses & Certifications
Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required.
Specialized certifications as needed.
