Day Shift (Exempt)
5 x 8-hour shifts
Some weekend call required
No floating
Position Summary & Responsibilities
Oversee daily lab operations for routine and stat testing
Supervise lab staff, scheduling, training, and performance
Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CLIA, CAP, FDA, OSHA, and HIPAA
Perform Clinical Laboratory Scientist duties as needed
Manage quality control, proficiency testing, and lab procedures
Maintain inventory, supplies, and operational efficiency
Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (Required)
5+ years clinical lab experience (Required)
Prior supervisory experience (Required)
Hospital lab experience (Preferred)
Experience with Joint Commission standards (Required)
Licenses & Certifications
ASCP or AMT (MT) Certification (Required)
