Come and work with the best of the best at Envoy Air where you will join a team committed to providing outstanding service.We offer:Amazing employee flight privileges within the American Airlines global networkTraining and development programs to take your career to the next levelComprehensive health and life benefits (subject to location)Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license is required for this positionResponsibilitiesHow will you make an impact?ResponsibilitiesThe Supervisor, Maintenance Tower Operations is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and controlling maintenance operations in the tower including communication to Crew Chiefs and Maintenance SupervisorsMonitor daily scheduled maintenance items to make sure tasks are accomplished prior to the last departure of flight out of the stationReview and assist the Operation with coding delaysProvide detailed information to the Hub Operations so necessary business decisions can be made in regards to delaysRemain aware of all aircraft going to the hangar in order to minimize the taxi timeEnsure activities are accomplished in accordance with Company policies, FAR's, Company and OEM maintenance programs and other governmental regulations. Provide support to Crew Chiefs and Mechanics as neededIn this role, the Supervisor must have attention to detail and troubleshoot effectivelyThe ability to prioritize tasks and work collaboratively across function departments is criticalQualificationsWho are we looking for?RequirementsMust currently have a Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license or be able to obtain one within 14 days.High School DiplomaMinimum experience of two (2) years in aircraft maintenanceMinimum of one (1) year experience in a supervisory capacityWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookWorking knowledge of Federal Air Regulations (FAR's)Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writingPossess the legal right to work in the United StatesAbility to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English languageCollege degree or equivalent amount of work experience preferredExperience creating and maintaining departmental budgets preferredWorking knowledge of labor contracts preferredPlease note: The description is intended to provide a brief overview of the position.
