Job description
Job Summary
The Supervisor, Manufacturing Maintenance leads daily maintenance activities and directly supervises maintenance technicians. This role ensures equipment reliability, safe work practices, and effective response to breakdowns and preventive maintenance needs.
Essential Job Functions*
Supervise daily maintenance activities and technician assignments.
Prioritize maintenance work based on safety, production impact, and equipment criticality.
Ensure compliance with lockout/tagout and safety regulations.
Coordinate breakdown response and recovery.
Ensure preventive maintenance tasks are completed on schedule.
Monitor maintenance backlog, downtime, and performance metrics.
Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management for technicians.
Partner with operations to minimize equipment downtime.
Support maintenance documentation and CMMS accuracy.
Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, operations, or a related field preferred.
6+ years of manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or related experience.
Prior leadership experience preferred.
Competencies - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and equipment systems.
Ability to lead and supervise skilled maintenance employees.
Skill in work prioritization and breakdown management.
Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements.
Ability to diagnose equipment issues at a high level.
Ability to communicate clearly across functions.
Ability to hold team members accountable for safety and quality.

Work Environment
Packaging - Material Handler: Self-paced, 8 hr shifts. May be exposed to fumes, loud noises, and extreme temperatures infrequently. Functional near, far and peripheral vision and functional hearing required.
Physical Demands
Packaging - Material Handler: Heavy, lifting up to 85 lbs., pushing/pulling up to 280 lbs.
