Job description
Supervisor, Production ControlThe Supervisor, Production Control administers the day-to-day tactical production control planning, scheduling, flow of materials, and monitoring to achieve the goals and objectives for delivery dates, output quality, volume, cost and optimization.ResponsibilitiesAssign routine daily tasks prioritizing work schedules for production department and monitor work at frequent intervals to ensure daily production schedules are metConduct process confirmations to ensure standard work processes are being followed; identify and address non-compliance, look for continuous improvement opportunities while ensuring all operational processes are carried out in accordance with quality systems and proceduresParticipate in staff selection, performance management (including evaluation and discipline), coaching, training, scheduling and employee development while ensuring compliance to legal and company requirementsSet weekly production targets. Maintain metrics and communicate production issues at daily and weekly production or program meetingsWork collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective planning methodologies and best practicesFollow established practices & procedures and safety, quality, and production improvement goalsSupport SIOP and other weekly organization reporting processesQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDNo experience in people management required.Minimum two (2) years of experience in field.About UsAbout Frontgrade At Frontgrade, we build mission-critical electronics that perform without compromise in the world's most demanding environments, from deep space to national defense.
