Job description
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the AIR SYSTEMS GROUP, PROPULSION & POWER ENGINEERING DEPT, TEST METHODS & FACILITIES DIV, and MECHANICAL TEST OPS BR of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
You will provide guidance to branch personnel on safety and environmental procedures and processes.
You will conduct informal training of subordinates and provide backup skills by cross training.
You will ensure that test articles and associated equipment are prepared in accordance with directives received and that all work is accomplished commensurate with schedules.
You will find ways to improve production or increase the quality of the work directed.
You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
You will evaluate work performance of subordinates and recommends official performance ratings, give advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.
