Job description
Hazardous Material TechnicianYou will conduct inspections and evaluations of conditions prior to issuing hazardous operation permits for welding/cutting operations, open burning, fuel transfer and fuel transfer operations.You will respond and provide supervision as an integral member of the hazardous material team at the hazardous material technician level.You will respond and provide supervision as a member of the high/low angle rescue team and the water rescue team.You will respond to all medical emergencies as an Emergency Medical Technician and make preliminary assessments of the patients condition and provide basic life support measures.You will develop and instruct training classes/demonstrations for contractors, military and civilian personnel.You will evaluate employees and program goals and identify and provide for developmental and training needs.
