About the Position:
This position are located at Evans Army Community Hospital, Fort Carson, CO.
This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Basic Requirement for a Supervisory Medical Support Assistant (Office Automation):
Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes experience in entering, manipulating, and retrieving information from a medical automated systems; Scheduling and coordinating medical appointments for patients; Providing technical guidance, such as reviewing reports for accuracy, ensuring compliance with policies and operating instructions, and/or providing support to hospital staff; Providing information to patients such as hospital policy and procedures, or patient eligibility. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) based on a 5 minute sample with 3 or fewer errors.
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
