Job description
Supervisory Security Assistant DutiesServes as a Supervisory Security Assistant, overseeing the work of Site Security Managers (SSM) and Verifying Officials (VO) for the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS), RAPIDS.Manages the operations and security of the DEERS/RAPIDS workstations and operators. Maintains roster of RAPIDS users. Adds, trains, and assigns roles of users and views or updates the RAPIDS configuration utilities.Directs installation access control operations through oversight and supervision of Site Security Managers (SSMs) and Registrars for the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS).Responsible for the system security of all Common Access Card (CAC) terminals and executing DEERS/RAPIDS operations.Safeguard cardstock, accountability, inventories and inspections of processes/material associated with the identification card program.Manages multiple systems supporting issuance of DoD Identification and local visitor badges as well as fingerprint system for hiring actions and personnel security requests.
