With manufacturing facilities in Germantown, Wisconsin and Malvern, Arkansas, all products are designed and produced in the USA using lean manufacturing techniques. We strive to recruit the best talent in the industry and give employees opportunities for continuing education and training to help them advance in their careers.Analyze supplier capabilities; develop and maintain supplier quality metrics; conduct studies and audits of supplier processes and productsLead the Supplier Quality Assessment program for the assigned category; involving a cross-functional team to ensure proper alignment to the Chamberlain Group strategy, business and product needsIdentify PPAP Level and dimensional requirements on the component quality plan when a new PPAP is requiredRecommend disposition of non-conforming product from suppliers through the MRB meetingsReview, approve and follow-up on SCAR responses related to audit findings, nonconforming product, or overall supplier performance to ensure effective resolutionOversee and manage the PPAP protocol processAnalyze metric tools to identify opportunities and drive continuous quality improvement in their respective commoditiesIdentify opportunities for component inspection reduction while participating in cross-functional teams to continuously improve product quality from suppliersProvide technical support to IQC in defining inspection protocols when requiredConduct monthly performance reviews with supply baseProtect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidentialMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societiesContribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as neededComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.Minimum QualificationsEducation/Certifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical related field, Business or Supply ChainExperience:4+ years of experience in Quality EngineeringKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Working knowledge of APQPWorking Knowledge and Application of Lean Manufacturing, DFM, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Total Cost of Ownership, Suppler Diversity & Sustainability/Regulatory complianceAbility to work in an environment that embraces cross-functional collaborative team driven resultsWorking knowledge of LSS; belt preferredStrong analytical skills and technical market analysis experienceStrong communication skillsOther:Able to travel up to 25% - domestically and internationallyAdvanced English proficiencyPreferred QualificationsEducation/Certifications:Quality certificationsExperience:Global sourcing experienceExperience in an Engineering roleKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Understanding of technically related subjects (motors, electronics, plastics, metals, etc.)$76,600.00 - $144,700.00Chamberlain Group wants all of its employees to succeed and encourages people of all backgrounds to apply.
