Through monitoring, observation, document review, witnessing inspections and examinations, and selective hands-on inspection, the SQR evaluates supplier performance and product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
The SQR serves as the Company's primary quality representative at assigned supplier facilities. Responsibilities include identifying and documenting nonconformances, working with suppliers and project quality personnel to achieve appropriate disposition, verifying corrective actions, releasing conforming materials for shipment, and providing timely surveillance and quality status reports to Company project personnel and customers.

Participate in supplier kickoff, pre-fabrication, and pre-inspection meetings.
Confirm applicable witness and hold points, inspection and test plans, documentation requirements, material traceability, and quality expectations before fabrication begins.
Verify that approved procedures, qualified personnel, calibrated inspection and test equipment, current drawings and revisions, and released materials are available before work begins.

Fit-up and dimensional inspection
Blasting and surface preparation
Coating application and inspection
Pressure and functional testing
