Job description

We are:

Supply Chain, and we move fast, think fast, and work fast. Our Fortune 500 clients need big-picture change, so we come at their challenges from all sides with functional insights, data power, digital leadership, and extensive industry know-how. It’s our job to show clients how to take major leaps forward in planning, procurement, manufacturing, and fulfillment while becoming more sustainable and resilient. How do we do it? We call out the most important metrics. We cut costs, optimize capital, improve response times and consider ESG values. We connect suppliers and customers across the extended supply chain. And we create strategies and operating models that really work.

You are:

A Supply Chain and Operations professional who helps clients develop strategies and operating models that integrate planning, procurement, product design, manufacturing, and/or fulfillment functions within an organization, as well as connect suppliers and customers across the extended supply chains. You use your data skills to develop and implement strategies that improve the entire supply chain process by applying cost efficiency, increasing business effectiveness, and creating synergies and collaboration across companies. You’ve also got the communication skills to make sure that everyone understands your ideas and how to get them working as quickly as possible. Your experience means that people look to you for guidance and ideas. And you know how to make sure teams get their work done on time, every time.

You are:

A motivated and analytical professional who is starting your career in Sourcing and Procurement strategy. You help clients develop and implement strategies that improve procurement processes, optimize supplier relationships, and drive operational efficiency. Using your data skills, you analyze procurement workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and support the development of sourcing strategies that reduce costs and enhance supplier performance. You’re a collaborative team player with strong communication skills, able to translate complex ideas into actionable solutions.

The work:

Develop Sourcing Strategies: Support the creation and execution of sourcing initiatives that align with client objectives and reduce procurement costs.

Procurement Process Optimization: Analyze current procurement processes, identify inefficiencies, and suggest improvements.

Supplier Management & Negotiation: Assist in supplier negotiations and building relationships, ensuring performance standards are met.

Data-Driven Insights: Use analytics to monitor procurement metrics, track supplier performance, and identify areas for cost reduction.

Client Collaboration: Work directly with clients to understand their needs and translate those needs into actionable sourcing strategies.

Technology Integration: Assist in the integration of digital tools to improve procurement workflows and drive automation.

Project Delivery: Support project teams to ensure that sourcing strategies are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.

Here’s what you need:

Minimum 3 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain roles.

External consulting experience at a consulting firm or internal consulting experience in a role equivalent to the Consultant level within industry.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 10 years' work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Bonus points if:

You have experience with procurement software tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement Cloud).

You have Lean or Six Sigma certification.

You have the proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

You excel in building and developing relationships, overseeing complex programs and demonstrating leadership

You’ve earned an MBA or equivalent graduate degree

You have a functional-level understanding of technology solutions

You can use the latest data analytics tools to spot opportunities for improvement

Prior experience in driving insights using visualization tools (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and analytics tools (i.e. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
