Supply Chain Purchasing Manager

Job Location: In-Person, $75000-$95000/Hour, 1st Shift, Monday-Friday
A manufacturer specializing in custom and standard products for commercial and industrial applications. They are seeking a Supply Chain Purchasing Manager to join their team.
Your day-to-day as a Supply Chain Purchasing Manager:
Create, issue, and manage purchase orders for materials, components, and outside services
Monitor material availability to support production schedules and proactively address shortages
Oversee supplier communications, lead times, on-time delivery, and quality issues
Utilize ERP/MRP systems and forecasts to anticipate and plan material needs
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, physical inventory, and root-cause analysis
Collaborate with Design/Engineering and Operations on evolving product requirements
Your skills and experience:
3–7 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and strong Excel skills
Demonstrated ability to manage suppliers, lead times, and inventory in a high-mix manufacturing setting
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Experience working with cross-functional teams such as Design/Engineering and Operations
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field preferred
