Job description
Hospital Supplies And Equipment ProcurementThe incumbent is to utilize hospital systems to procure and maintain adequate levels of supplies and equipment that are issued and dispensed out to hospital departments in accordance with purchasing and supply chain policies and guidelines. Assist with orderliness of files and catalogs, reception of vendors, accounts payable follow-up in accordance with existing accounting standards and guidelines, return of items to vendor/manufacturer including supplies and equipment. Assist with organization and implementation of annual and semi –annual inventories including working with external auditors.High School diploma or equivalent required.Bachelor's degree preferred.Valid Driver's License required.2 Years of position-related experienceThe kind of position-related experience includes:Direct, recent experience with a computerized inventory and computerized purchasing system. Experience purchasing supplies and equipment. Familiarity with usage of medical supplies is desired.
