Job description
Lead Supply SpecialistThe Lead Supply Specialist manages the transactional and information flow of the supply plan for the segment. Proactively communicates and works cross functionally to remove barriers to execution of the supply plan including managing regular reporting, issue identification and resolution, and meeting mechanisms to ensure clean flow of information throughout the organization.Essential responsibilities:Support tactical execution of supply plans within the segment while aligning to safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets of the businessKeep ERP systems and tools up to date and accurate to the current supply plan.Regularly monitor, identify and resolve barriers to execution of the supply plan both in the direction of demand planning and with manufacturing sitesProactively communicate through regular mechanisms the status and issues in the creation or execution of the supply plan with schedulers and plannersRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technical, Business, Supply ChainOR a high school diploma / GED and with a minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, materials planning, inventory management or warehouse/distribution centers.Desired Characteristics:APICS certifications (CPIM and/or CSCP)Global experience working with cross-functional teamsStrong analytical & problem-solving skillsAbility to handle multiple priorities, act independently, and use sound judgmentChange agent with energy, passion and enthusiasmERP (SAP(PMx), Baan, Oracle (Zeal)) experience in a manufacturing environmentDemonstrated ability to use lean tools for continuous improvementGE Vernova offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
