Central Laboratory- Support ServiceLocation: 2434 Interstate Plaza, Hammond, IN 46324Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM; Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation; Rotating ShiftsFTE: 1.0We are a highly reliable scientific organization building a culture of service. Our commitment advances the health, wellness and continuity of care in the communities we serve. We are one of the largest integrated laboratory networks serving hospitals in the Midwest region. Our network includes 32 hospitals and multiple physician offices.This individual is responsible for accurately and completely entering all necessary data into the computer system and performing other clerical, receptionist and computer functions as directed and as needed. In addition, this person may also be required to process specimens. This individual shall maintain a healing environment for employees and patients with a spirit of caring and concern as incorporated in the philosophy of our Catholic healthcare systems while performing all job functions.High school diploma or equivalent.Typing skills (at least 40 wpm).Computer experience preferred.A background in medical laboratory and/or knowledge of medical terminology is strongly preferred.
