Support StaffLocation: Polk Mental Health Clinic - Livingston, TX Position Number: P#189 Compensation: $28,329 annuallyAbout the RoleBurke is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Support Staff team member to join the Polk Mental Health Clinic in Livingston. This position provides front-office and administrative support while interacting daily with consumers, visitors, clinical staff, and other Burke employees.The Support Staff position helps maintain efficient clinic operations through scheduling, data entry, document management, fee collection, and general administrative support. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.What You'll DoAnswer and manage a multi-line telephone system.Greet and assist consumers, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.Collect fees and process payments.Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.Process requests for records and documentation.Scan and upload documents into electronic charts.Assist clinical staff with administrative support tasks.Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.Perform general office duties as assigned.Maintain confidential information in accordance with Burke policies and procedures.QualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent.Valid Texas driver's license.Driving record that meets Burke's insurance requirements.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.Ability to provide courteous and professional customer service to consumers, visitors, and staff.PreferredOne (1) year of office or administrative experience.Experience working in a medical, behavioral health, or related healthcare setting.Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Windows-based systems.Experience using electronic records systems.Customer service experience.Experience with office equipment, scheduling, and general office procedures.Work ScheduleMonday - Friday8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.BenefitsEligible full-time employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement plan with employer matchPaid vacation and sick leavePaid holidaysEmployer-paid life insuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Physical RequirementsAbility to communicate effectively using visual, auditory, and verbal skills.Ability to walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.Ability to operate a motor vehicle as needed.Manual dexterity sufficient to perform job duties and operate office equipment.Equal Opportunity EmployerBurke is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic unless such characteristic is a bona fide occupational qualification.Applicants must provide proof of identity and employment authorization as part of the hiring process.
