Breast Surgery opening in Lewiston, MELocated in Lewiston, ME - Portland 35 miles, Boston 140 milesFull-time; PermanentHospital-Employed Overview: Seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible General Surgeon with focus in Breast Surgery Opportunity to help grow and expand breast surgery program Collaborative multidisciplinary environment with oncology, radiology, pathology, and women's health teams Blend of general surgery and breast-focused practice Opportunity for teaching and involvement in clinical program development Clinical Details: Perform general surgery procedures including elective and urgent cases Perform breast surgery procedures including: Lumpectomy, Mastectomy and Sentinel lymph node biopsy Evaluate and manage benign and malignant breast disease Provide inpatient and outpatient surgical care Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and cancer program initiatives Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary with productivity incentives Sign-on bonus available Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan with employer contribution CME allowance and paid time off Malpractice provided with tail coverage Requirements: MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery Eligible for Maine medical license Experience or fellowship training in breast surgery or surgical oncology preferred Commitment to multidisciplinary, patient-centered care About the Area:Lewiston is located in central Maine along the Androscoggin River and offers a strong sense of community with access to outdoor recreation year-round.
