NP/PA Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgery - Covington, LA Availability Start Date: January 26, 2026Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMCall: RequiredNights, weekends, and holidaysCall Type: 2nd Call / BackupResponse Time: 30 minutes Practice Setting Setting: Hospital-basedResponsibilities: Assigned inpatient roundingFirst assist with cardiothoracic surgeon Patients Per Shift: Approximately 13EMR: Epic Clinical Focus Specialty: Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic SurgeryRequired Skills: Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH)Radial artery endoscopic harvesting Candidate Requirements (Quick Screen) Role: Nurse Practitioner First Assist or Physician AssistantExperience: Minimum 3 years preferredBoard Certification: RequiredFellowship Training: PreferredCertifications: ACLS - RequiredBLS - Required Recruiter Notes Surgical first assist role with inpatient roundingCall responsibilities are mandatoryEVH and radial artery harvesting experience required for consideration Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
