We re currently seeking a Physician Assistant - Surgery Cardiothoracic to join our amazing team.
Details of the Opening:
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 3-6 months, ongoing
Outpatient/Hospital
Schedule: Night shift 6p-6:30a, no call. no OR coverage, At least 2 shifts needed per week
Support staff: CTS surgery team. They will be the solo PA on site during the night shift
Procedures: PA will perform these standardized procedures in these areas: Critical Care Dept, ER, Telemetry Units, Med-surg units and outpatient clinic. Must be able to perform all simple procedures as well as some advanced procedures such as removal of wound pump, removal of pacing wire, etc.
Patients per day: 15-25. Varies on day
Patient population: Adults, no Peds
EMR: Epic
Requirements:
Board Certification: Required
License Required: CA license required
DEA: Required
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
Minimum Experience Required: 1-2 years Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days. Expedited will be considered on an as needed basis.
