Locums - Springfield, Oregon NP/PA Vascular Surgery Opportunity

Clinical Role

Start: ASAPAssignment approved for 6 monthsFull-time NP/PA Vascular Surgery coverageInpatient and outpatient responsibilitiesGap coverageApproximately 15-20 patients per dayProvider will work alongside an MD/DO and will not practice independently Assignment Details

Schedule: 12-hour and/or 24-hour call shifts, Monday-Friday, with 24-hour weekend call opportunitiesDay Call: 7:00 am-5:00 pmNight Call: 5:00 pm-7:00 am; beeper call24-Hour Call: 7:00 am-7:00 amCall Requirement: Approximately 6 shifts per monthProviders beginning at 7:00 am must report onsite for handoff, rounding, and other responsibilitiesClinic Hours: 8:00 am-4:30 pmCurrent Night Coverage Needs: October 3 and 4November 5, 25, 26, and 27December 12, 13, 16, 24, 28, and 31 Responsibilities: Rounding, admissions, first assist in the OR, and assistance with clinic proceduresPatient Population: Vascular/EndovascularInpatient Beds: 36Privileges: Hospital and clinicFirst Assist Requirements: Documentation of training and competency required, including surgical case logs from the previous 24 months and documentation identifying first, second, or third assistNP candidates requesting First Assist privileges must provide procedure-specific training and competency documentation, including procedure type, volume during the previous 2 years, and primary operator informationLicensing: Oregon-licensed candidates preferred for October and November coverage; non-Oregon licensed candidates may be considered for later datesCertifications: BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, as applicableEMR: Epic What is great about Springfield, Oregon?
