REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Post-operative care for all types of cardiothoracic and vascular patients
Emergency surgery on cardiothoracic and vascular patients
Taking consults/referrals from ED, Cath Lab and hospital providers
Vein harvesting and retrieval of vascular tissues for bypass conduit
Assist in surgery, write prescriptions, coordinate care, round, interpret/order tests
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board: BC in Vascular Surgery
Licenses: Active OH license or compact license
DEA: Active DEA
Certifications: ACLS
Experience: Minimum 5 years in Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgery services
Other Qualifications: Clean background/no malpractice or license issues, EMR proficiency (Epic)
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients
Assist in cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries
Manage patient rounding and coordination of care
Interpret diagnostic tests and order appropriate treatments
Perform vein harvesting and retrieval of vascular tissues
