Job description
This locum Cardiovascular Surgery opportunity is seeking a board-certified Cardiovascular Surgeon for hospital-based coverage over the July holiday weekend. The provider will primarily handle hospital rounding and cardiovascular surgical care, including emergency and on-call responsibilities as needed.
Dates / Schedule
Coverage Dates:
Friday, July 3rd at 5:00 PM through Monday, July 6th at 7:00 AM
Schedule:
24-hour coverage

Job Details / Responsibilities
Hospital rounding and cardiovascular surgery coverage
Practice setting: inpatient hospital
EMR/documentation system: EPIC
Required procedures include:
Aneurysm repair
Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
Heart valve replacement surgeries
Cardiothoracic surgery experience required
Required Skills & Qualifications
Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Surgery required
Board Certified in Cardiovascular Surgery required
Active South Carolina medical license required
Providers needing to obtain a license will not be considered
Active ACLS certification required
Self-query NPDB report required at time of presentation
Clean background/history required for temporary privileges consideration
