Job description
Ambulatory Surgical Center OrderlySeeking a highly motivated individual that can anticipate the needs of the unit and respond accordingly. A team player with a positive attitude that is punctual, reliable, able to adjust to a fast-paced environment.Essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Restocking of necessary itemsAssist with directing family members to and from the unitAssist with admitting patients to the unit (by connecting patient's to monitors, applying Bair Hugger, filling and applying ice packs, providing extra blankets, and extra fluids if needed.)Emptying and replacing linen hampersAssisting patients with dressing, going to restroom, and discharging to their vehicle (Must be able to assist with patient lifting.)Stripping, cleaning, remaking stretchers, and taking stretchers to Pre-Op.Answering phone callsExperience/educational requirements:Education: Graduate of four-year high school or equivalent (GED).Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
