Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner Boston, MA

Shift: 3x 13-hour day shifts (6:00 AM 7:00 PM)
Hours/week: 39 hours
Employment Type: Full-time, temporary
License/Certs: MA State License, Board Certification in Neurosurgery (preferred)
Experience: Minimum 1-year neurosurgery experience required
Pay & Benefits:
Hourly Rate: $129.98

What You ll Do:
Collaborate with residents and healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
Conduct patient rounding and assessments for inpatient neurosurgery patients.
Review and prioritize patient needs, including readiness for discharge.
Manage orders and follow-up care for neuro inpatient cases.
Assist with removal of drains such as Hemovac or JP drains (preferred skill).
Document patient interactions accurately in Epic EMR.
Ensure all neuro patient care standards are met with compassion and professionalism.
What You Need:
Current MA State license
Board Certified in Neurosurgery (preferred)
At least 1 year of clinical neurosurgery experience
Ability to work independently within a hospital setting
Strong patient care and communication skills
