Locums - Langhorne, Pennsylvania, NP/PA Cardiothoracic Surgery Opening
Clinical Role
ASAP start with ongoing need until a permanent provider is hired1 NP/PA needed100% inpatient, hospital-based Cardiothoracic SurgeryAdult patient populationLevel II Trauma CenterSupport the Cardiothoracic Surgery team in the operating room and with inpatient care Schedule & Call
Primary need for nights and weekends with possible weekday coverageWeekend coverage includes Saturday and Sunday rounding followed by call coverageAdditional call coverage as neededCallback hours currently unknown Practice Model & Clinical Expectations
Preoperative physical examinationsInpatient rounding and coordination of careDiagnose and treat illnessesOrder and interpret diagnostic testingSurgical first assistPrescribe medicationsSuture removalChest tube insertionEndoscopic retrieval proceduresEpic EMR Requirements & Credentialing
