Job description
A highly collaborative surgical subspecialties team in the Greater Hartford, Connecticut area is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time nights position offering extensive hands-on surgical experience, procedural autonomy, and the opportunity to practice at the top of your license.
Position Highlights:
Full-time nights with flexible scheduling
No call
Premium shift differentials
First-assist in the OR with extensive hands-on surgical experience
ED and inpatient consultations, admissions, rounding, and discharges
Perform invasive bedside procedures
Diverse surgical exposure across: General Surgery
Thoracic Surgery
Vascular Surgery
Colorectal Surgery
Plastic Surgery
Exposure to robotic procedures, vascular interventions, breast reconstruction, thoracic surgery, and more
Opportunity for significant procedural autonomy
Practice at the top of your license
Collaborative team of 22 physicians and 9 Physician Assistants

Qualifications:
Unrestricted Connecticut medical license or eligibility
Certified Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
1+ year of experience as a PA or NP in surgery or a related setting
