Duration: Until permanent staff are hired (scheduled for ongoing coverage)
Shift: 12-hour shifts (day and night shifts available)
Hours/Week: 36 hours/week (3 shifts)
Employment Type: Locum (temporary)
License/Certs: Valid Nurse Practitioner license, and certifications in accordance with state laws
Experience: Previous neurointerventional surgical experience preferred
Pay & Benefits:
Hourly Pay Rate: $14.74/hour

What You ll Do:
Provide inpatient care for neurointerventional surgery patients in a hospital setting
Respond to and manage code stroke situations according to protocol
Assist with post-procedure inpatient care and patient monitoring
Document patient care efficiently using EMR (EPIC system)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Support staff and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
What You Need:
Active Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia (or willing to obtain)
Prior experience in neurointerventional or neurovascular surgery preferred
Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights
Strong documentation skills with EMR systems, ideally EPIC
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
