Join a dynamic cardiac surgery team at a top-tier academic hospital providing high-level perioperative care. This locum tenens opportunity offers ongoing OR first assist coverage with clinic support and call responsibilities. Work alongside skilled cardiac surgeons and an intensivist in a cutting-edge operating room environment.

Schedule: Regular Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM; Weeknight call: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (1 night per week); Weekend call: 6:00 AM - 6:00 AM (rotating)

Job Responsibilities Providing OR first assist coverage in cardiothoracic and cardiac surgeries
Supporting cardiac surgeons and intensivist in various procedures including CABG, valve repair, ascending aortic surgery, and more
Engaging in clinic support and rotating call duties as scheduled
Qualifications Board Certification Required
Missouri state license
BLS certification required; RNFA preferred for NPs
Minimum of 2 years of independent adult cardiac surgery OR first assist experience
Working Hours Regular hours from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Rotating call schedule for weeknights and weekends
Skills Proficient in endoscopic vein harvesting and use of Maquet EVH System
Experience in sternotomy opening and closure, as well as chest tube and temporary pacing wire placement
Capable of handling mechanical circulatory support procedures, including exposure to equipment like Impella and ECMO cannulation
