Locums - Tyler, Texas, NP/PA CVT Surgery Opening
Clinical Role
Join a high-acuity Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery team in Tyler, Texas, providing inpatient coverage for critically ill cardiac and thoracic surgery patients. This ongoing locums opportunity offers both day and night shifts in a Level I Trauma Center while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary surgical team.

Practice Setting:
Inpatient Hospital Patient Volume:
Average of 10-15 patients on the service at any given time Clinical Responsibilities:
Round on patients in the Cardiovascular ICUManage pre- and post-operative cardiac surgery patientsCare for patients recovering from open-heart surgeryManage patients following VATS and lung proceduresAssist with ventilator management and post-operative critical careCollaborate with cardiovascular surgeons, intensivists, nursing staff, and ancillary teamsParticipate in admissions as neededDocument patient care using Epic EMR Support & Technology
