NP General Surgery opening in Albany, NY Seeking a dedicated General Surgery Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient surgical practice located in Albany, New York. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team within a well-established, fast-paced clinical environment. Overview: Full-time outpatient role: M-F 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. No weekends, no call, and no holidays Responsibilities include: - Supports five general surgeons - Pre procedure patient education - Post operative follow-ups and ongoing patient management - Conducting in-office visits and clinical assessments - Opportunity to participate in in-office procedures for those interested - Care coordination, patient counseling, and clinical documentation - Participation in multi-specialty care planning as needed Join a collaborative surgical team in a fast-paced, diverse outpatient environment Excellent work life balance with predictable weekday hours and no overnight shifts Broad clinical exposure with opportunities to grow procedural and intraoperative skillsets, if desired Strong system resources Broad exposure to multiple surgical subspecialties Position Offers: Competitive base salary range $134,120-$150,214 commensurate with experience commensurate with experience $5,000 starting bonus paid in first payroll month The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above. Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner. Previous experience in general surgery or a related field is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Estimated pay range/amount is $134,120.00 to $150,214.
