General Surgery APP opening in Cooperstown, NY Full-Time Surgical Oncology OR First Assist New Graduates WelcomeAn established General Surgery team in central New York is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support surgical oncology and robotic surgery services.Opportunity Highlights:Full-time General Surgery / Surgical Oncology NP/PA opportunity
Join an established General Surgery team of 10 surgeons and 6 APCs
Hands-on surgical role with first-assist responsibilities
Serve as first assistant to oncologic and robotic surgeons
Responsibilities may include clinic coverage, inpatient rounding, admissions, and consultations as needed
Previous surgical experience preferred
New graduates encouraged to apply
Optional call coverage available
Large integrated regional network serving an eight-county area across 5,600 square miles
Strong fit for an APP interested in surgical oncology, robotic surgery, and perioperative care
Compensation and Benefits:Salary range: $135,000 - $155,000
Performance-based compensation available
Sign-on bonus up to $50,000
Optional call stipend: $20,000 annually
Benefits package available

Candidate Requirements:Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
National Certification as a Physician Assistant through NCCPA, if applicable
New York NP/PA license or eligibility
BLS certification required
DEA required
Surgical experience preferred

Strong surgical, clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
