NP/PA General Surgery opening in Davenport, IALocated in Davenport, IA - Iowa City 60m; Chicago 165mFull-time; Employed Overview: Join an established surgical team in a busy regional healthcare system Work alongside experienced General Surgeons in a collaborative practice environment Blend of operative, inpatient, and consultative responsibilities Serve as first assist in the operating room across a variety of surgical procedures Perform inpatient rounding and ongoing patient management Evaluate and manage emergency department and inpatient consults Provide post-operative follow-up care with limited clinic responsibilities Opportunity to build broad surgical experience and procedural skills Strong physician-APP collaboration and supportive leadership Four 10-hour shifts per week Daytime schedule with flexibility based on surgical volume Voluntary call opportunities available Fast-paced, team-oriented surgical environment Comp/Benefits: Competitive compensation package $10,000 starting bonus 160 hours PTO 40 hours CME PTO $3,000 CME allowance Malpractice coverage including tail Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options 403(b) retirement plan with company match Physician-led organization focused on wellness and work-life balance Group/Facility Info: Established surgical program serving the Quad Cities region Collaborative team of experienced General Surgeons Strong APP and physician support structure Large regional referral network Opportunities for professional growth and skill development Comprehensive multidisciplinary support services About the Area:The Quad Cities region offers a unique combination of affordability, excellent schools, and abundant recreational opportunities along the Mississippi River.
