Surgical Services Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant opening in Exeter, NH Full-Time Evening Shift Monday-Friday No Call, Weekends, or HolidaysA respected surgical services team in Exeter, New Hampshire is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive surgical care across the perioperative continuum.Opportunity Highlights:Full-time Surgical Services APP role
Evening shift schedule: Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM-9:00 PM
No call, weekends, or holidays
Provide comprehensive surgical care across inpatient, Emergency Department, and Operating Room settings
Responsibilities include inpatient rounding, ED consults, and first-assist responsibilities in the OR
Serve as first and second surgical assistant for assigned surgical cases
Conduct patient rounds and complete progress notes
Perform comprehensive and episodic health assessments
Establish differential diagnoses, order and evaluate diagnostic studies, and manage follow-up plans
Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with New Hampshire regulations
Collaborate with surgeons, general and specialty providers, and multidisciplinary care teams
Participate in quality, efficiency, and process-improvement efforts

Candidate Requirements:Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
1-3 years of directly related surgical experience required
New Hampshire license or eligibility
National certification as an NP or PA required
NP candidates must have RNFA program completion and OR hours
PA candidates must have NCCPA certification
BLS certification required
Eligibility for medical staff appointment and clinical privileges
Strong surgical, perioperative, communication, and collaboration skills
