Position Highlights
Start: September 2026
26-week locum assignment with extension potential
Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
No call, nights, or weekends
100% Operating Room First Assist
Adult patient population
Average of 2 3 surgical cases per day
First assist with General Surgery service lines including Urology, Urologic Oncology, Gynecologic Oncology, Endocrine Surgery, and Otology
Mix of open, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures (robotics varies by service)
No clinic, rounding, consults, or inpatient management
Competitive compensation plus travel and lodging provided (if applicable)
Requirements
Board-certified PA-C or NP with First Assist experience
Active Texas license or pending at the time of submission
General Surgery/OR First Assist experience required
