CVOR First Assist opportunity in Greenville, North CarolinaAbout the position:Seeking a Board-Certified Physician Assistant or RNFA certified Nurse Practitioner to assume the role of Cardiac Surgery First Assistant (CVOR)The successful candidate must have at least 2 years of experience and be proficient in all aspects of first assisting for major cardiac surgical procedures, endoscopic and open vein harvesting, radial artery harvesting, and have experience with a high-volume CT surgery program.100% ORWork with an established team of Cardiac Surgeons and First Assist NP/PAsState of the art 6-story heart hospital with the largest operating rooms in the country, hybrid CVORAbility to work with a nationally recognized cardiothoracic surgery program that performs more than 1,000 pump cases annuallyLarge robotic programIf NP, must hold RNFA certificationEstablished NP and PA orientation programsApplicants will be required to have BLS/ACLS from the American Heart AssociationCompensated call structureCompetitive salary, benefits, and relocationLocation Highlights:Greenville is a thriving university town and the cultural, educational, and economic hub of eastern North CarolinaLocated just over an hour from Raleigh and the beaches of the Crystal CoastExcellent public and private schools, low cost of living, and a revitalized downtownAccess to boating, kayaking, fishing, hiking, and year-round outdoor activitiesHome to a major university with over 24,000 students and a vibrant arts and culinary scene
