What You ll DoProvide advanced support in cardiothoracic urgent surgeries, including vein harvesting
Assist with patient care from ICU to discharge, including postoperative management
Support surgical teams during procedures and maintaining sterile environments
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
Support staff scheduling for 3 weekends per month coverage, including 4 hours of callback daily
Navigate the EMR system (EPIC) for documentation and clinical updates
Respond to urgent surgical needs during 24-hour shifts and provide backup as required
What You Need
Required:
PA license in Pennsylvania
DEA license
Minimum 3 years of experience in cardiothoracic or acute care surgical support
Strong knowledge of vein harvesting procedures
Ability to work 24-hour shifts and manage responsive callbacks
Preferred:
Experience in urgent cardiac surgery environments
Certification in advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS)
