Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM with 1:5 call (7:00 AM 7:00 AM)
Hours/Week: 50 hours/week
Employment Type: Contract
License/Certifications: WI State License, BLS, ACLS, DEA
Experience: Minimum 2 years as a PA, with 1 year as a first assist in cardiac surgery
Pay & Benefits:
Hourly Pay Rate: $162.24
Benefits include: Weekly pay via direct deposit

What You ll Do:
Support cardiothoracic surgeons with preoperative and postoperative patient care
Assist with complex cardiac procedures, including robotic surgeries
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including RNs and support staff
Manage adult patients in a fast-paced surgical environment
Document clinical activities using Epic EMR
Ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes during perioperative care
Adhere to all hospital policies and standards of care
What You Need:
Valid Wisconsin State License and DEA registration
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Physician Assistant; 1 year in cardiac surgery as a first assist
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong skills in cardiac procedures, with familiarity in robotic surgery preferred
Ability to work well in a team and handle a high-acuity patient population
