APP - General Surgery Location: Oneonta, New York •Full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant opportunity in General Surgery•Located in Oneonta, New York•Join an established General Surgery team consisting of 2 Surgeons and 2 Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants•Provide OR and inpatient support along with outpatient clinic coverage•Opportunity to work across multiple locations, including Oneonta, Delhi, Sidney, and Norwich•Collaborative academic healthcare environment with strong physician and APP supportSchedule & Call•Monday-Friday coverage•Rotating first-call responsibilities for inpatient and Emergency Department services•Rotating weekend call•Weekend call consists of a 4-hour shift on Saturday and Sunday•No overnight call requiredClinical Responsibilities•Outpatient General Surgery clinic coverage•OR first assist•Inpatient coverage•Support inpatient and Emergency Department services•Collaborate with surgeons and other members of the care team•Previous surgical experience preferred•Group-employed modelCompensation•Salary range: $127,803-$144,035•Performance-based compensation•Sign-on bonus up to $50,000•Competitive salary with additional incentive opportunitiesQualifications•National certification as a Physician Assistant through NCCPA or Nurse Practitioner•New York State licensure•ACLS certification•BLS certification•DEA registration required•Previous surgical experience preferredBenefits•Competitive salary and generous sign-on bonus•Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage•CME: 5 days and $2,000 per year•Retirement plan•Paid malpractice insurance•Generous paid time off•New York State license and DEA fees reimbursed•$5,000 Supportive Transition Bonus for relocation•PSLF Loan Forgiveness Available•Virtual scribe support available from day one•Virtual in-basket coverage across a variety of services•Strong focus on APP practitioner well-being•Opportunity to become a member of the medical staffAbout Oneonta, New York•Friendly and family-oriented community of just under 15,000 residents•Located in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains•Known for its safety, natural beauty, diversity, and welcoming atmosphere•Home to SUNY Oneonta and Hartwick College•Excellent place to raise a family•Offers a variety of four-season recreational and cultural activities•Conveniently located with easy access to Binghamton, Albany, and Utica
