Join the growing team of Advanced Practice Providers with Banner Health
in the Phoenix Northwest Valley!
Excellent opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Cardiovascular surgery PA or ACNP to join our outstanding Cardiovascular Surgery Group who are doing remarkable things! Based out of Banner Thunderbird Medical Center and Banner Boswell Medical Center, this position will help support expansion and growing market shares in the Phoenix Northwest Valley. In this role you will round on patients in the hospital, see patients in the clinic, and provide surgical first assist in the OR. Qualified candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work well within a team.
Minimum Requirements:
Licensed in AZ or eligible for licensure
DEA with prescriptive authority
PA-C or ACNP w/RNFA Certificate at the time of application
Documentation of successful completion of surgical first-assist training as a part of the curriculum in their nationally accredited nurse practitioner program or attendance at a surgical first assist training course sponsored by ACE, AORN, ANCC, or equivalent as approved by the facility Credentials Committee/Medical Executive Committee
1 - 2 years' experience preferred
OR Surgical skill set
Cardiovascular surgical experience including endo vein harvesting
ACLS/BLS
Practice Details:
Inpatient/Outpatient
Part-time position - 2 days per week (Monday; Tuesday)
Call: One weekend per month
